International Student Sports Carnival 2019 At Multimedia University Cyberjaya

Victory is sweet most especially after hard work was the mood as Dr. Syaheerah guided International Students from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) to Multimedia University Cyberjaya for the 2019 edition of the International Students Sports Carnival. Three weeks prior it was open and careful selection of team players and participants for various categories for the sports carnival. TeamUSM, as the USM participants were dubbed, were pulled out from all the campuses; Main Campus, Engineering Campus, Advanced Medical and Dentist Campus and health Campus in Kelantan.

After two days of competition, USM was the overall best and won gold in both Netball and Tug-of-war, they also were second runner-up in the 10km endurance relay but lost the football competition to the eventual winners of the football competition.

Dr. Syaheerah then arranged for a short but eventful session at the Ministry of Education, Putrajaya for the students. They all had a fruitful discovery discussion on how the ministry supports student activities in Malaysia and the world in general.
